This Privacy Policy explains how Get Desky, LLC ("Get Desky," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit getdesky.com, engage with our programs (90-Day Sprint, Strategic Advisory, AI Build Day, AI Agent Build, AI Systems Assessment, Work Smarter Inner Circle, speaking engagements), or otherwise interact with us by email, phone, or in person.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you give us directly when you:

  • Book a discovery call or strategy session
  • Apply for the 90-Day Human-Driven AI Integration Sprint, Strategic Advisory retainer, AI Agent Build, or AI Build Day
  • Purchase the AI Systems Assessment + Roadmap
  • Join the Work Smarter Inner Circle community
  • Register for an event, workshop, or speaking engagement
  • Subscribe to The Maximum Leverage Brief newsletter or any of our email lists
  • Download a resource, complete a quiz, or fill out a form on our site
  • Contact us by email, phone, text, or through a social platform

This information may include: name, email address, phone number, business name, role, website, revenue range, team size, project context, payment and billing information, and anything else you choose to share with us in conversations, intake forms, or sessions.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or open our emails, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:

  • Pages visited, links clicked, time on page, referring URLs

1.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from referral partners, public business directories (e.g., chamber of commerce listings), LinkedIn, payment processors, and analytics providers. We only use this information for legitimate business purposes consistent with this policy.

Analytics & Advertising

We may use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and similar tools to measure traffic and campaign performance. These tools may set cookies and collect device and behavior data. You can opt out via your browser or platform-specific opt-outs.

4. Information Sharing

4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes — ever.

4.2 When We May Share Information

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • With your consent: When you explicitly agree (e.g., a testimonial, case study, or referral introduction)
  • Service providers: With the vendors listed in Section 3 to run the business and deliver your program
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest where supported by our vendors
  • Multi-factor authentication on critical business accounts
  • Role-based access — only team members who need access have it
  • Regular review of vendor security practices

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal and contractual retention requirements)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

6.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell your personal information. To submit a request, email hello@getdesky.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line.

6.3 EU/UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The legal bases we rely on are: (a) your consent, (b) performance of a contract, (c) compliance with legal obligations, and (d) our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.

6.4 Communication Preferences

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
  • Replying STOP to any SMS message
  • Emailing hello@getdesky.com

Note: You cannot opt out of transactional messages (e.g., billing, session confirmations, program logistics) while you have an active engagement with us.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. Categories include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site and forms to function
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how people use the site
  • Marketing cookies — used by Meta, LinkedIn, and similar platforms to measure ad performance (only set if you've consented where required)

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and operators. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Get Desky is based in Texas, USA. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

10. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the programs and services you've engaged us for
  • Maintain client records, contracts, and financials (typically 7 years for tax and legal purposes)
  • Honor unsubscribe and suppression requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes

You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to the retention requirements above.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will:

  • Post the updated policy at this URL
  • Update the "Effective Date" and "Last Updated" dates at the top
  • Notify active clients and subscribers by email if changes are material

Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
